4 Months

Today Brody had his 4 month check up and shots.  He weighed in at 13 lbs 8 oz and is now 24.5 inches long--all in all, he's growing well and at a steady rate.  The shots went over about as well as could be expected--lots of screaming and crying, but it subsided (for both of us) quicker than the last set of shots.

Halloween

I decided to dress Brody up for Halloween this year, and I really wanted him to be a lion (his 'official animal', according to Gammy).  Unfortunately, I couldn't find any lion costumes I liked, and a couple days before Halloween I couldn't find ANY lion costumes, so my mother-in-law and I created this costume out of a reindeer outfit.  We took him out to see a few neighbors and family (I figured it would be too obvious that Mommy wanted candy if we took him anywhere else).  Brody was a good sport.

My apologies for slacking on this blog, but here are a few pictures to catch up.  We took a trip to MO to visit my parents and let Brody meet the rest of my side of the family.

Uncle Paul got Brody his very own set of John Deere keys which, as you can tell, went over very well.
